A small studio, built to make useful things.

We are a studio, not a single product. Our focus is broad on purpose: we are interested in the small, ordinary problems that almost everyone runs into, and in whether a well-made app can take some of the friction out of them. That keeps us from forcing every idea into one category, and it keeps us close to the question that actually matters — is this genuinely useful to a real person?

How we build

We build slowly and deliberately. We would rather ship one app that works beautifully than a shelf of apps that almost work. That means a lot of saying no: no to features that do not earn their place, no to dark patterns that pull at your attention, no to shipping before something is actually good.

Being small is part of how we keep that standard. There is no layer between the people who decide what to build and the people who build it, so the details do not get lost on the way to release.

What we care about

Three things, mostly: that the things we make are useful, that they are well-made, and that they are privacy-respecting. We collect as little as we can, we do not sell anyone's data, and we treat the people who use our apps as people, not as metrics to be maximized.

Where we are now

We are early. We have not shipped our first app yet — we are building toward apps we would want to use ourselves, and we would rather tell you that plainly than fill this page with a portfolio that does not exist.
